Mr. Dong Cao is a founding partner and previously held CEO of Thai Duong Capital (2009-2016).

Prior to setting up Thai Duong Capital, Dong was the first CEO of PVFC Capital (now known as PVCOMBANK Capital). Dong has more than 15-year intensive experience of Vietnam Financial Market including banking, investment management, capital market and private equity. He was one of the first people joining State Securities Commission in 1998, setting up Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) in 1999, setting up Ho Chi Minh Securities Corporation (HSC) in 2002 and setting up Investment Business in PVFC (PVFC, now as PVCOMBANK) in 2005 as well as its fund management firm - PVFC Capital in 2007. Dong had been sitting in BOD of Ho Chi Minh Housing Development Bank (HDBank), DIC Trading Corporation (code DIC: HOSE). Dong is currently the Chairman of several companies where Thai Duong Capital & its clients invested currently. He had held several important positions in the securities and finance institutions such as Deputy Manager of Registration-Custody and Settlement Department of HOSE; Deputy CEO of HSC, Deputy Director of PVFC – HCM and CEO of PVFC Capital.

Dong received MA in Economics of Development at Institute of Social Study, The Netherlands and Asset Management Certificates at State Securities Committee.
